I have been researching how to live on the road. In this book I found loads of useful information about how to travel in an RV while saving money. The color pictures are great and I liked all the super suggestions for finding jobs, how to handle mail, etc.
This is a very helpful book.
I recommend this book to any parents /parent who realy want to be there every step of the way of there kids education .I will say (well done) worth every penny.

Throwing a sleeping bag and a tent into the back of a van and hitting the road for a weekend camping excursion is one of America's great freedoms of leisure, but this book expertly demonstrates how to both live and homeschool on the road and have fun doing it on a tight budget. The authors brilliantly teach us that homeschooling and traveling go together like marshmallows and chocolate over a roaring campfire. Juniper and Rockett Ridge beautifully express how State and National Parks offer amazing teaching opportunities with special programs that not only expose children to nature and wildlife, but a plethora of academic subjects that complement and strengthen academic learning. The authors have effectively taken education to the open road and have very much deepened my understanding of roadschooling. That is, how they do it, why they do it, and furthermore, offer clever tips and practical ideas for teaching while living on the road. Do you think about travel as a dynamic means to educate your children while having fun? Then this book is just right for you!
Oh my gosh! We (husband and I) have been enjoying this book! We have no young children, but (full disclosure) know this mother and son and have been awed by what they have done. Thank goodness they've committed it to paper to help others! This would not only help people who are planning homeschooling on the road, but hopefully would encourage others to do so! We've traveled a lot on the road, but I don't think we've deepened our experiences as much as this mother and son did (of course, this is part of his schooling and his mother planned and encouraged these experiences to be enjoyable and educational -- we're just old farts that enjoy roadtrips!) The mom has given her son a gift that will keep on giving for the rest of his life! I hope people will read and encourage the parents of their grandchildren to read this book! And we've learned tips that we'll use for our next roadtrip also!
